Este es Sech! Uh-huh, the wait is finally over for fans of Panamanian singer, Carlos Morales aka “The Teddy Bear”.
The reggaeton artist dropped his highly anticipated album “42” yesterday (April 15.), which features collaborations from fellow industry colleagues including Arcangel, Wisin & Yandel, Rauw Alejandro and Nicky Jam.
To celebrate the release of his third LP, the Latin pop artist had a customised chain made (icey enough to make it to the North Pole) with the name of his brand new baby “42” and his signature cartoon character, a teddy, as he is often portrayed in lyric videos.
The 11-track-album produced by signed-to record label Rich Music, includes the previously released “healed heartache” tune “911” and “Te Acuerdas” ft. Arcangel, following their previous collaborative hit “Amantes”.
With it’s official music video set in the beach, “Sal y Perrea ” promises to be a club anthem with it’s dembow beat and perreo flavor, an open invitation from Sech himself for the ladies to hit the dancefloor.
Other promising album hits include “Playa” featuring Nicky Jam and Rauw Alejandro, with it’s mellow tempo, produced by Colombian producer Sky Rompiendo and “Pata Abajo” ft. Wisin & Yandel, guaranteed to be another “hasta abajo” (all the way down) tune with it’s sexy-movimiento beat.
In a series of one-minute length video clips via his Instagram, the rising star had been rising up the momentum for the release of his latest album. Narrating his own story – and personal journey – before his rise to fame, the emotional yet inspiring short-doc series tells the story of a young boy who dreamt of one day becoming as big as his favorite Panamanian baseball player, the Legendary Yankee’s ex No. 42 Mariano Rivera.
And although growing up his passion for baseball and music went hand in hand, he would soon come to realise that music would be his token; full-filling his dreams of landing in the Big Apple to proudly represent his motherland, Panama, on a global scale.
