MEET NICOLE SILVA
With a distinctive tone of voice, fluency in 5 languages and an Oxford degree under her belt, British-Colombian singer-songwriter Nicole Silva is an artist to watch. Her music is a unique blend of R&B, reggaeton and commercial pop, with lyrics in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. Nicole Silva draws inspiration from artists such as Shakira, Aaliyah, Camila Cabello and Karol G.
Nicole Silva has collaborated with award-winning producers such as ADP (Dua Lipa, Chris Brown, James Arthur), Levi Lennox (Emeli Sande, Sia, Raye), Hank Hughes (Beyoncé, Sam Smith, Zayn Malik) and Dukus (Tory Lanez, Wiz Khalifa, Craig David).
Born and raised in London, Nicole Silva began her musical journey at a young age, writing her first song at just 6 years old and performing at any opportunity. After uploading cover songs onto YouTube at the age of 12, she was discovered by 80s pop singer Sinitta, who took her under her wing and placed her in a 3-piece girl group.
Having supported Jessie J, JLS and Union J at the Madejski Stadium in front of 25,000 people, Nicole Silva spent her teenage years developing as an artist and discovering her sound. In 2014, she also managed to secure herself a modelling contract at a renowned London agency.
From 2015 to 2019, Nicole Silva continued to perform, write music, collaborate with artists and model for major brands. The singer was also selected as the official face of London Fashion Week in 2019, featured in Vogue China and photographed by top photographers in France, Italy, Colombia and the UK, all whilst completing a degree at the University of Oxford.
Nicole Silva is preparing for the release of her debut single (produced by Dukus). The song contains Latin overtones and Arabian undertones, with a true Noughties R&B feel to it, drawing inspiration from the Pussycat Dolls’ 2006 song ‘Buttons’ and Karol G’s ‘La Dama’.
