The fast-food restaurant has partnered with NTWRK, an e-commerce marketplace, to serve up three iced-out chains commemorating the menu items in the reggaeton singer’s signature order – including a Big Mac, World Famous Fries and an OREO McFlurry.
Starting October 21, NTWRK will host three separate drawings during which the randomly selected participants/fans can purchase one of the 14-karat gold, diamond-encrusted necklaces, designed by luxury jeweler Saint Jewels.
The blinged out Big Mac chain showcases 2.4 carats of brown, white, champagne and yellow diamonds, celebrating the fan-favorite sandwich. The 14-karat yellow gold represents the World Famous Fries, complete with 600 pavé-set rubies and 1 carat of yellow diamonds as a nod to the Golden Arches. The McFlurry chain features approximately 1,100 set stones of white full and single-cut diamonds, black diamonds and mixed-toned natural blue vivid sapphires and enhanced blue diamonds, totaling over 14 carats.
The necklaces were inspired by J Balvin’s love of fashion and accessories. The “I Like It” crooner wore an identical set during the making of the commercial featuring his signature McDonald’s order.
The selected participants of each drawing will take each chain home for a drawing fee of just $10. Fans can enter the drawing and see the winners of each chain be revealed live during episodes on NTWRK’s IOS and Android app. Entry for all participants is free and the $10 drawing fee will only be charged to the winners, who will be notified via the NTWRK app of their selection.
Earlier this month, the Golden Arches and the global ambassador of reggaeton unveiled a cool new line of apparel and accessories. The exclusive collaboration collection fuses J Balvin’s favorite “Colores” with his love of McDonald’s food. The collection includes pieces ranging from a McFlurry bucket hat, to Big Mac slippers to a temporary tattoo showing off the receipt for the J Balvin Meal.
